Re: [BackpackingLight] sleeping pads

I have an air core in reg. mummy and I like it BUT it will chill me at around 45F or so and below. I switched to an neoair due to that but in ways I like the BA more as far as it seems "softer" at a higher profile than the Neo.  Read higher profile as it holding my butt or shoulder/hip above the ground so I am not "bottoming out". Now the Neo is less " crap I am rolling off the pad " feeling. Everything seems a trade off in gear selections.

anyone had any experience with the big agnes air core or clear view pads. after a recent trip, i'm looking for something more comfortable but trying to stay as light as possible and in a full length pad. i usually use a hammock, but my daughter and i have been making some trips to isle royale and i haven't been able to convince her on the benefits of hanging.
