I have the Litlbug stove and love it. Takes constant attention and a lot of practice to cook right on it. If you like building fires with it can be a lot of fun. Definitely not the pop into camp and have coffee in 5 minutes convienance. With a little gathering though you can still have a roll up and going fairly quickly. Obviously can't use it anywhere near your tent as sparks are flying. I even find that I have to keep my thermarest converted chair away whilst I'm cooking. I put three large holes in it this spring by getting lazy about it. So sparks do fly. I do bring a small home made alchohol burner along as back up and the litlbug does convert to "somewhat" incorporate it. I've never had to resort to it though even in wet conditions so may start leaving it at home. My biggest complaint about the wood burning stoves is the soot. It is an extremely messy system and dealing with your pans can be a pain. And a lot of clean up. So as in everything a give and take. And if you are in a pristine wilderness it's not exactly leave no trace unless you bring something to set it on that won't leave a fire mark. Otherwise it's only 5.1 oz and a blast.
