Anybody that takes my "water" bottle and drinks from it without my permission deserves whatever they get..... ;o)

You are right, I forgot the alcohol bottle:
12 fl oz Plastic Coke Bottle - 0.90 oz
(When full w/ alcohol, will weigh 10.4 oz total)
This will last 6 to 7 days @ 2 C of boiled water for 2 meals/day
- Most of these 6+ days are @ 10-11,000 ft elevation.
(Store 2 pot support rods in same bottle & they never get lost)
I nag on this about once a year,
But I don't think it is a good idea to put alcohol in a coke bottle.
It might be mistaken by you or others for water or something drinkable.
Now you will immediatly say "I am no dummy, I mark it clearly"
But what about your hiking companions, you've seen them do dumb stuff?
Now you immediatly say "Not so, I only hike with companions with graduate degrees"
But what about when you store it at your house and your sisters kid sees it?
Think about it.
I suggest you not use something that is universally recognised as a food container to store a poison. Use a different shape, like a shampoo bottle, or an oil bottle, ask at a pharmacy for a securely closing bottle, or my favorite a yellow Heet bottle. No one will automatically assume it contains a tasty beverage.
(end of rant) (didn't mean to dump on anybody in particular)
