Hi Folks,
I was up north of Flagstaff last week. It's beautiful green country,
about 8000 feet up, open forest with lots of forest service roads to
access the backcountry. I'd like to organize a trek next year of about
7 days.
I looked in the Phoenix REI for some guidance, but every trail I checked
in the books said "no water available".
Is it possible to set off in a loop or lollipop, with 7 days food and
obtain water on the way? What are the water sources? Where is the font
of information on this part of the country?
