I've been there twice, both in mid July.
First time I had frost a couple nights, the other time it was hotter than normal. BOTH times the smoke was bad from regional fires and the photos were bad.
As for what bag, the #3 will all that extra clothing would be fine, or just the #1. I suspect #1 is lighter alone, but the extra clothing would be nice if sitting around in the evening/morning. You will get a better idea of the weather just prior to leaving.
I've never done the AT so I can't comment.

> I have never been to Glacier National Park. I have a week long hike planned for the last week of July. For my final pack I have some questions that maybe some here can answer.
> 1) Should I take my Montbell Super Stretch #3(35 degree) that I can use with a puffy coat, clothes, hat, gloves, etc OR take my Montbell Super Stretch #1 (15 degree) bag? I will have a NeoAir pad underneath my bag.
> 2) Is there a place where I can get elevation/profile maps of my hike? I have my permits.
> 3) Is the hiking easier/same/
