I have the single Rainbow and agree that the Rainbow family is a great set of tents. I only use mine for motorcycle/Jeep camping because it is bulky compared to my SMD Lunar Solo, but it is a well sorted little tent that does quite well under conditions where you wouldn't expect it to do well. It can be a bit drafty on cold windy days due to the mess on all sides, but pitching the backside into the wind and piling your gear on that side breaks the wind enough to make it acceptable.
The tents mentioned in Ed's original message are mountaineering tents for use in cold conditions. They're good tents, but will be hot and stuffy in summer conditions. That is not a problem with the Tarptents.
