Anyone use an Ipod Nano (what generation model?) on week long hikes going up to 12,000 feet and higher?
the Apple specs state it is only warranted < 3,000 meters (9,842 feet). I found one page of input where one person said they'd done colorado mountains with no problems. would like more input on this issue. Our group is planning on a 2nd gen and 4th gen ipod nano going on the full jmt hike and wonder.
thanks!
